Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the For Ball mobile application (“App”) and its companion backend at api.forball.cc (“Service”) collect, use, and share information. The App is an amateur football companion for managing squads, fixtures, match events, training plans, drills, and a daily quiz.
By using the App or Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who is responsible

2. Information we collect
The App does not require creating a traditional user account (no email/password login).

Device identifier. An anonymous device ID
(
X-Device-Id) generated on your device and sent with API requests so we can associate your team membership and synced data with that device. - Team and football data you enter. Club/team name, competition, squad (player names, numbers, positions), fixtures, venues, formations, lineups, match events (goals, cards, saves, etc.), training plans, drill ratings, and quiz answers.
- Technical / operational data. Standard server logs (request path, status code, timing) used to operate and debug the Service. We do not use advertising trackers in the App for this Service.
Profile avatars stay on your device and are not uploaded to the Service. We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos from your library, payment information, or government ID numbers.
3. How we use information
- To provide App features: team sync, fixtures, stats, training, drills, quiz, and live match updates.
- To keep team membership tied to your device and allow invite-code joining.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service (including diagnosing errors).
- To respond to privacy or support requests you send by email.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
Team-related data you sync may be visible to other devices that join the same team via invite code (for example, squad and fixture information). Aggregated drill rankings and similar shared features may be available to other users of the Service.
We may share information with infrastructure providers that host the Service (for example, our hosting platform), solely to operate it, and when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
5. Retention
We retain synced team and match data while it is needed to provide the Service. If you leave a team or delete data in the App, corresponding server records may be updated or removed according to how those features work. Server logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations. You can contact us to request deletion of data associated with your device ID.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data stored by the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use the App responsibly and do not enter sensitive personal information that is not needed for football team management.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. International users
The Service may be hosted in data centers outside your country. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in those locations where privacy laws may differ.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Request access to data associated with your device
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing
To exercise these rights, email wilder.ghineas@icloud.com and include enough detail for us to identify your device/team data (for example, invite code or device ID if you have it).
You can stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes on-device data; server-side team data may remain until deleted or until you request removal.
10. Third-party services
The App communicates with our backend at https://api.forball.cc. If you open external links or contact us by email, those channels are governed by their own providers’ policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes may also be communicated in the App Store listing or by other reasonable means.
